is to provide a genuine and dedicated commitment to the sport of gymnastics, enabling young athletes to attain their fullest potential while cultivating a sense of self confidence that empowers children to challenge physical, mental and emotional limitations in the gym, at school and across social settings.
Kendrick Recreation Center has been providing recreational gymnastics to children in the Philadelphia area for over 40 years.
In 2007, Saranne Miller established Philadelphia's first non-profit, USAG- sanctioned Junior Olympic gymnastics team, The Kendrick Kippettes.
The city-subsidized program targets underserved, urban-based children, thrives on fundraising and stipends and is run by Program Director & Team Coordinator Janette Mancini.
Kendrick Gymnastics offers three sessions per season for our recreational classes; fall, winter & spring. You can register by checking our website or contacting us about our next open registration date.
Our Competitive City Tumbling Team host open tryouts annually for team member determination.
Criterion for membership on The Kendrick Kippettes Junior Olympic team includes physical ability, athletic potential, discipline, behavior, attitude, and parental support. Placement on the team is by invite only.
