Who We Are
Kendrick Recreation Center has been providing recreational gymnastics to children in the Philadelphia area for over 50 years.
In 2007, Saranne Miller established Philadelphia Park & Rec's first, USAG- sanctioned Junior Olympic gymnastics team, The Kendrick Kippettes.
Along side the leadership of Program Director, Janette Santore. Miller & Santore managed the city-subsidized program which targeted underserved, urban-based children and thrived on fundraising and stipends.
In 2020, Janette Santore established Kendrick Gymnastics as its own entity. Now, a non-profit corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501c3 charitable organization. Kendrick Gymnastics continues to uphold its prestigious service to children in the Philadelphia area and act in the best interest of the organization and its members under the direct supervision of a Board of Directors.
How to Register
Kendrick Gymnastics offers three sessions per season for our recreational classes; fall, winter & spring. During summer months, we offer gymnastics day camp. You can register by checking our website or contacting us about our next open registration date.
Criterion for membership on The Kendrick Kippettes Junior Olympic team includes physical ability, athletic potential, discipline, behavior, attitude, and parental support. The Kippettes host open tryouts annually for team member determination.
