Junior Olympic Levels 2-9 & Xcel


Recreational

Beginner 1 & 2 (female ages 4 & 5)

$60 per session

The 1-hour class is designed to teach basic gymnastics positions & skills. Your little one will improve their mobility skills, build self-confidence, develop independent abilities and increase interaction with other children in a fun, relaxed environment. 


Beginner 3 & 4 (female ages 6 & 7)

$90 per session

In the 1 1/2 hour class your child will begin her journey as a beginner gymnast. The classes are designed to teach children the fundamentals of gymnastics, improve mobility, build self-confidence,  develop independent abilities and increase interaction with other children while creating an instructional & fun atmosphere for learning. 

Beginner 5 (female ages 8 & up)

$90 per session

In the 1 1/2 hour class your child will begin her journey as a beginner gymnast. The classes are designed to teach children the fundamentals of gymnastics, improve mobility, build self-confidence, develop independent abilities and increase interaction with other children while creating an instructional & fun atmosphere for learning. 

Intermediate Class (female 6 & up)

$100 per session

In the 2 hour class your child will continue her journey as a gymnast. It is designed to maintain the fundamentals previously implemented in beginner classes while introducing & progressing intermediate tumbling skills.  Your gymnast will build self-confidence, gain strength and increase flexibility in a more structured environment. 

Gymnasts must be recommended by their Beginner head coach or selected at tryouts to attend this class.

Boys 1 (ages 5-8)

$60 per session

This 1-hour class is designed to teach basic gymnastics positions & skills. Your little one will improve their mobility skills, build self-confidence, develop independent abilities and increase interaction with other children in a fun, relaxed environment.

Adult Open Gym (Currently unavailable)

$10 Drop-in fee

Our Adult Class is open to women and men ages 16 and older. The Adult Open Gym Class is designed to bring the health and wellness benefits of gymnastics to those beyond the high school age. Participants range from beginning gymnasts to former college-level competitors. Participants can tumble on our spring floor and have the option to work on any piece of our equipment to include; uneven bars, balance beam, vault, tumble trak, parallel bars and rings. Participants are encouraged to work independently. Direct instruction is available for those new to the sport.   

Competitive City Tumbling

Boys Tumbling-Pre-Team (Currently unavailable)

$180 per session

In this class your son will begin/continue learning basic gymnastics skills and be introduced to advanced skills. The class is designed to teach the fundamentals of gymnastics in a more structured environment. He will establish basic gymnastics skills and be introduced to advanced skills. Your child will learn discipline & how to build strength. Your son will receive training on floor, rings, pummel horse, vault and parallel bars. Your son will have the opportunity to compete in city-wide tumbling meets if all requirements are achieved. 

The class meets for 1 1/2 hours twice a week.

Pre-Team (female ages 5-7)

$100 per session

Your child must have been selected at tryouts. In this class your gymnast will be prepped for placement on the Competitive City Tumbling Team or our USAG Team, The Kendrick Kippettes. 

Your gymnast will receive training on vault, uneven bars, beam and floor exercise. The class will test the gymnast's flexibility, strength, artistry, perserverance and commitment for team determination.

The class meets for 2 hours once a week. 

Competitive City Tumbling Team (female ages 6 & up)

$240 per session

Your child must have at least 1 year experience. All new team members must attend and be selected at tryouts. Competitive City Tumbling is designed to maintain the skills previously executed while introducing gymnasts to several new skills. Your child will learn discipline & how to build strength. In addition to tumbling, she will receive training on vault, uneven bars & beam. Our focus is to establish the skills needed to compete in the City-Wide tumbling meets at the beginner, intermediate, advanced & open levels. This is an exciting challenge for the girls and training for these meets will be a highlight of the class.

The class meets for 2 hours  twice a week.   

USAG

Levels 2-5

$80-$160 per month

Levels 2-5 are developmental levels and consist of compulsory routines which provides young gymnasts with a solid foundation of basic skills in order to advance safely through the Junior Olympic Program.  Levels 2 & 3 do not have mobility scores. Gymnasts must score out of levels 4 & 5 in order to advance. Levels 3 & up  are provided competitive opportunities up to and including the USAG State Championships. 

Practices range from 2-3 days per week. Each practice is 2-3 hours in length.

Levels 6-9

$160 per month

Levels 6 & up are progressive in nature and demand a sense of difficulty, strength & commitment. Although routines & skills are optional they are built upon the skills required previously. Levels 6-9 require mobility scores to advance. Competitive opportunities are provided up to and including USAG State Championships. Levels 8 & 9 have the added opportunity to qualify and compete at Regional Championships.

Practices range from 3-4 days per week. Each practice is 3 hours in length.

Xcel

$120 per month

Xcel is an alternative option to competitive gymnastics. The levels are designed to offer a more broad-based, less demanding and affordable competitive experience outside the traditional Jr. Olympic Program to attract and retain a diverse group of athletes. 

Xcel levels train & compete at USAG-sanctioned meets with The Kendrick Kippettes.  

Practices are 2 days per week. Each practice is 3 hours in length.

 

 

Special Olympics

Special Olympics is a year-round, global sports training and competition program for athletes with intellectual disabilities. Our Special Olympics team trains weekly and athletes of all ability levels learn skills and routines to prepare for local and statewide competition with other Special Olympics programs. Special Olympics athletes receive lots of individualized coaching to maximize strengths and overcome challenges. The class is free and completely volunteer run. Many of our USAG team members volunteer with the program.
